1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy governs the data collection, processing, and storage practices of DevStormTech
(“we”, “us”, or “our”) for all of our mobile applications listed below. By using any of these apps, you agree to
the terms described in this Privacy Policy.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personally
identifiable information to third parties. We use trusted third-party services — described in detail below —
that may independently collect certain non-personally-identifiable data to provide their functions.
This is a combined policy covering all eight (8) applications published under the DevStormTech
developer account. The same data practices apply uniformly across all apps.
2. Applications Covered by This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the following eight (8) applications available on the Google Play Store:

Each of these applications is a companion skin/livery browser and editor for the respective truck or bus simulation
game, allowing users to browse, download, preview, and apply custom vehicle liveries.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information You Provide Directly
Our applications do not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as
your name, email address, or phone number to use the core features. The following user-initiated actions may involve data:
- Skin uploads / content creation: If you choose to submit a custom skin, the image file and any
associated metadata (such as a title or description you provide) is transmitted to and stored on our servers. - Notification preferences: Your in-app notification toggle preferences are stored locally on your
device using Android SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device.
3.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use our apps, the following types of non-personal information may be collected automatically:
- Device model, Android OS version, screen resolution, device language.
- A non-personally-identifiable advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / GAID).
- App usage data: features accessed, screens viewed, time spent in the app, search queries entered, skin categories browsed, download and view counts.
- Crash and diagnostic data: stack traces, exception types, device state at time of crash, and app version.
- Network connection type (Wi-Fi or mobile data) to optimize loading behavior. We do not store IP addresses in our own databases.
3.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
- Name, email, or contact information (no account required)
- Precise GPS or geolocation data
- Contacts, call logs, or SMS messages
- Camera or microphone access
- Biometric or health data
- Financial or payment information
4. Third-Party Services and SDKs
Our applications integrate the following third-party SDKs and services. Each service operates under its own
Privacy Policy, linked below. By using our apps, you acknowledge that these services may independently collect
data as described.
4.1 Firebase Analytics (Google LLC)
Used in all 8 applications: Skins for Truck Simulator Brasil, Skins for Truck Simulator Ultimate,
Skins for Grand Truck Simulator 2, Big Rigs Skins, BSU Skins, WTDS Skins, Skins for World Bus Driving Simulator,
and Universal Truck Simulator Skins.
Firebase Analytics is a free app measurement solution provided by Google LLC that provides insight into app usage
and user engagement. It automatically collects certain events and user properties.
Data collected includes:
- App open events, session duration, and engagement rate
- Screen views and user navigation flow
- Device type, OS version, and app version
- Country/region (coarse, not precise location) derived from IP address by Google
- Android Advertising ID (GAID) — used for cross-device attribution
- First open, in-app purchases (if applicable), and retention events
Firebase Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized. We use this data solely to improve app performance,
user experience, and content selection.

4.2 Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC)
Used in all 8 applications.
Firebase Crashlytics is a real-time crash reporting service that helps us track, prioritize, and fix stability
issues. Crashlytics automatically reports crashes and non-fatal errors so we can identify and resolve them quickly.
Data collected includes:
- Crash stack traces and exception messages
- Device RAM and disk state at time of crash
- Application version name and code
- Android API level and device manufacturer/model
- Whether the device was rooted/jailbroken
- A Crashlytics-specific installation UUID (not linked to any personal identity)
- Time since last boot and time since last crash
Crashlytics data is used exclusively for debugging and stability improvement. It is never used for marketing
or advertising purposes.

4.3 Google AdMob (Google LLC)
Used in all 8 applications to display banner, interstitial, and/or rewarded video advertisements.
Google AdMob is an advertising platform operated by Google LLC. It serves targeted or contextual ads within our
apps based on user interests, browsing behavior across other apps and websites, and demographic signals.
Data collected by AdMob includes:
- Android Advertising ID (GAID) — used for interest-based ad targeting
- IP address (used by Google to infer approximate geographic location)
- Device make, model, and OS version
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, video views)
- App usage context (which screen an ad was displayed on)
- User interest profiles constructed by Google from cross-app behavior
Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, and Switzerland will see a GDPR consent prompt upon first launch.

4.4 Yandex Mobile Ads SDK (Yandex LLC)
Used in all 8 applications as a supplementary advertising network to serve banner, interstitial,
and rewarded advertisements.
The Yandex Mobile Ads SDK is an advertising platform operated by Yandex LLC. Yandex Ads may collect and process
data in multiple jurisdictions, including Russia, the Netherlands, and the United States.
Data collected by Yandex Ads includes:
- Android Advertising ID (GAID) — for targeted ad delivery
- Device fingerprint data (screen resolution, hardware model, OS version)
- IP address at the time of ad request (used for geo-targeting)
- Ad interaction events (impressions, clicks, completions)
- App package name and version
- SDK version and network connection type
Note for EEA/UK Users: Yandex processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy and
applicable law. Please review Yandex’s data transfer practices before using the app if you are in a jurisdiction
with strict data transfer regulations.

4.5 DevStormTech Backend API
All skin browsing, downloading, and content delivery is powered by our proprietary backend API hosted on Cloudways
managed cloud infrastructure.
Data stored on our servers:
- Skin metadata (title, game tag, truck model association, image URL)
- Aggregate counters: total downloads, total views, and like counts per skin
- User-submitted skin images (if the upload feature is used)
We do not log individual user requests with personally-identifiable information. Standard server access logs
(IP address, request path, timestamp) may be retained temporarily by Cloudways for security purposes (typically
7–30 days) and are then purged.

We do not use collected data to build or sell user profiles, for external marketing, or for any form of surveillance.
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:
- With third-party service providers (Firebase, AdMob, Yandex) strictly for the purposes described in Section 4.
- Legal compliance: If required by applicable law, court order, or government authority.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We will notify users of any such change.
7. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)
Our applications are rated for general audiences but are not specifically directed at children under the
age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our advertising
configuration uses non-personalized or family-safe ad tags where required by Google Play’s Families Policy.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through our apps,
please contact us immediately using the email in Section 11. We will promptly delete such information.
8. Data Retention
- Firebase Analytics data: Retained for up to 14 months by Google, then automatically deleted.
- Firebase Crashlytics reports: Retained for 90 days by Google.
- AdMob interaction data: Retained by Google per their standard schedules (typically 13 months).
- Yandex Ads interaction data: Retained by Yandex per their privacy policy (typically 3 years for aggregated data).
- Our API server logs: Retained for 7–30 days by Cloudways, then purged.
- Uploaded skin content: Retained until the user requests deletion or moderation removes the content.
9. Your Rights and Choices
9.1 Opt Out of Personalized Advertising
On Android, go to: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
This affects both AdMob and Yandex ad targeting. You will still see ads, but they will be contextual rather than
interest-based.
9.2 Reset Your Advertising ID
Go to: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID to disconnect your
historical ad profile from future ad activity.
9.3 GDPR Rights (EEA and UK Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, you have the following rights under GDPR:
- Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal data held about you.
- Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data.
- Right to Restrict Processing: Request that we limit how we use your data.
- Right to Data Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
- Right to Object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any GDPR right, please contact us at the email in Section 11. We will respond within 30 days.
9.4 CCPA Rights (California Users)
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, and the
right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information within
the meaning of the CCPA.
10. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- All API communication uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.
- Our backend servers are managed by Cloudways with automated security patching.
- Firebase and Google services use Google’s enterprise-grade security infrastructure.
- We do not store sensitive personal information (passwords, payment data) on our servers.
No method of electronic transmission is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will
notify affected users as required by applicable law.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
- Display an in-app notification on the next app launch where technically feasible.
- Post the updated policy at the URL linked in each app’s Play Store listing.
Continued use of any of the eight DevStormTech applications after the effective date of an update constitutes your
acceptance of the revised terms.
